- Cleaning method- easiest method is to put the clams in deep freezer for 10 to 20 min it will automatically open up it's shell or other way is to boil it for 5min(but boiling does reduce it's taste).
- Once opened wash it well with water.
- Now in deep bottom vessel add clams,finely chopped onion,grated coconut,chillies,turmeric,sugar,kokum and water and cook it on high flame till it start boiling.
- Now lower the flame and cover the vessel with lid and cook it on low flame for another 10 min.
- Open up The lid and add salt(as per taste) put the flame high and cook it uncovered till all water is reduced and till it come to dry consistency.
- Put off the flame and garnish it with finely chopped coriander.
- Tisrya sukhe goes well as a side dish with fish curry rice or can also be served with chapati or bread.
