I made this recipe with dried prawns which are easily available in market. This dried prawns curry is a traditional recipe of Kerala. 1. Heat a pan and roast the dried prawns.remove the head part of prawns and keep it in separate bowl..
2. In the mixi add grated coconut,the head of dried prawns,chilli powder,coriander powder,green chilli, shallot,ginger,turmeric powder and make a fine paste..
3. Take a clay pot and add the grinded paste along with sufficient water,few pieces of raw mango,kokum,tomato sliced,dried prawns..
4. Cook the gravy in low flame once the gravy is ready add some curry leaves and pour 2 tsp coconut oil above it..
5. Serve hot..

Coconut milk is then added to the curry and is boiled until all the flavor has seeped in the shrimp and the raw mango. Crush together red small onion/shallots, garlic, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves. Preparation: Grind the ingredients for coconut paste and keep aside.
