Bottle gourd scrambles / Dudhi Bhujiya/ Lauki ki bhurji step by step
- Wash and Peel the bottle gourd (lauki) then grate it..
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let them crackle..
- Finely chop onion, tomatoes and green chilies..
- Add onions to the pan. and cook over medium heat until translucent..
- Once onions are done, add tomatoes into it. Stir occasionally. Cook for about 2-3 minutes..
- Reduce the heat to low and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well..
- Add green chilies and let it cook for 30 seconds..
- Add bottle gourd to pan and mix well..
- Let it cook for 5-7 minutes. Switch off the flame and Lauki/ Dudhi bhurji is ready..
